I live in a big house in La Toscana neighborhood, it is in Suba. I live with my two siblings and our house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens, a study room and a living room. We have two pets: my little dog is Lulú, and it belongs to the pug kind of dog, also our other pet is a parrot, its name is Venus.

I often get up at 8:00 am, I usually have “caldo” with bread and coffee for my breakfast between 8:30 and 9:10 am. Then, I try to study the subjects of university and I take time to plan my math classes from my job. I always have my lunch at noon because I should be at 12:30 pm at my school to start my job. I work from 12:30 to 9:50 pm with some breaks in my schedule. I go back home at 10:10 pm, so I eat a small dinner like sandwich and juice or only I take simple fast food. Later I try to study for one or two hours, or I take the time to watch TV or play a video game. I often go to bed at midnight. On weekends, I usually play soccer, go out, watch TV and study. Desafortunadamente no pude participar de los encuentros en línea como por ejemplo el taller de componente práctico porque se cruza con mi horario de trabajo, pero eventualmente observé las grabaciones de las web, los tutoriales y los videos guia que compartió la profe Linda en el desarrollo de cada etapa de esta tarea.

In my free time, I usually like to play soccer and rarely watch sitcom.

The main touristic places in Bogotá are Monserrate hill, La Candelaria neighborhood and The Gold Museum. There are many touristic places in Bogota, but these three are wonderful.

The most prominent typical food in Bogotá is the ajiaco, essentially it is a potato-based soup. It is prepared with three types of potatoes,: Sabanera potato (which has purple skin), Pastusa potato (like a common potato), and Criolla potato (a small yellow variety). This is the ingredient that gives ajiaco its thick consistency. Also includes Corn, Guasca (South American herb), accompanied with shredded chicken breast, capers, cream, avocado and rice.

On the other hand, there are two typical food in my city, the first is called Changua, it is a dish that has eggs cooked in a mixture of water, milk and salt. Second, we have a yummy sweet dish: Aguapanela with cheese and Almojábana.

The main celebrations in my city are: Ibero-American Theater Festival, The International Book Fair (also known as FILBo) and “Festivales al Parque”. People usually go to watch different performances in theater plays, or they can listen music or dance in many festivals. If they want to buy merchandising, books or meet writers they have to go to the Filbo.

Finally, in my city visitors usually can go up a lot of stairs in Monserrate hill. They always can visit famous museums, churches, enjoy the typical food, play sports like cycling or go to many different cultural activities.

Considero que si preparé y dediqué el tiempo suficiente para realizar el encuentro sincrónico con la tutora Linda, donde sentí que si me siento más seguro de expresarme oralmente en inglés respondiendo todas las preguntas. Desafortunadamente no pude participar de los encuentros en línea como por ejemplo los talleres STT porque se cruza con mi horario de trabajo, pero eventualmente observé los tutoriales y los videos guiá que compartió la profe Linda en el desarrollo de cada etapa de esta tarea.

Considero que siendo estudiante de tecnología es importante el aprendizaje del idioma inglés porque es el idioma de la informática, cualquier avance normalmente se da en este idioma en primer lugar y tener unas bases para comunicarme en este idioma me hace ser mas competitivo laboralmente.
