THEN, please, respond to at least ONE other person's article with a comment, question, or a suggestion for what they can read next.

For example the contest Miss Universe Singapore Bernadette Belle Ong. wore a dress that the back sprawled the message, "Stop Asian Hate".
Why I find it interesting: I find this article interesting because it shows that Miss Universe is more than about face beauty and talent. It shows that these women can make independent statements about their countries and politics. I just love that they were able to integrate such powerful messages with something as simple as dresses.

This article also gives former President Obama's opinion on UFO's and how they might not be a hoax. This article also includes a video of the leaked footage taken by The Pentagon. I personally think that this might mot be true because, I don't believe in aliens or anything of that sort. However, I think that the government hides things from us, this includes us not knowing much about Area 51 and other things.

Texas governor Greg Abbott wants Texas to go backwards into pre-pandemic times. He's already signed and passed many bills that promote his pre-COVID and republican motives like the banning of required masks on school property, cutting off pandemic aid for unemployed Texans, wanting to ban abortion after six weeks, the passing of a "Bathroom bill", and so on. Even if Texans aren't ready to go back to normal, Greg Abbott is.

Greg Abbott wants Texas to be normal again

Personally, I think this decision by the governor is utterly ridiculous. Wanting to go back to normal is one thing, but banning the requirement of masks is not smart at all. Not all Texans are vaccinated yet, only about 30%+ are. If we open up schools, stores, restaurants, and so on without a mask requirement, I believe we may be setting ourselves up for failure. I would also like to mention that it's quite tiring hearing that republicans still want to keep society back with bills like abortion bans and the barring of transgender youth/individuals. All it's doing is setting our development back and keeping us from growing as a society. Overall, I do not agree with Greg Abbott's plan to "revive" Texas.

I really like this article because I would've never imagined someone as Demi coming out. This made my heart smile because like Demi, I am also non-binary. I think this is such a good look for people who may be struggling with their identity. For them to have spent so much of their life using she/her pronouns and still feel comfortable enough to let the world know how they've been able to find something that makes them feel complete is remarkable. It shows everyone that it is never too late to find yourself, and that it is never too late to live the way you want. Cheers to Demi.

I understand that they have lots of faith in the vaccine and that they think it'll be good for them to start going back to normal BUT I think that's still a very hazardous decision to make at this current time.

Summary: This article talks about Biden's new 2.8 billion dollar project that aims to increase in the production of renewable energy and help the U.S. bring its carbon emissions down to a neutral level. Along with this major project, the Biden Administration announced a national goal that will help promote new jobs and clean electricity by installing 30 gigawatts of offshore wind capacity by 2030. With all this talk on a brighter future fisherman are worried about how it will affect sea life and their livelihoods but have yet to be answered on their concerns.
This is important because climate change has drastically changed over the years and has been ignored for far to long. Now that more efforts to improve life on Earth and provide a clean and energy efficient future have been enacted this will hopefully create a chain reaction in trying to achieve more global goals and improving life for the better.

The family was said to be asleep when a loud noise woke them up. Firefighters said they had some difficulties fighting the flames. "The house appeared to be added on multiple times," Deputy Chief Robert Garcia said. "But once you start adding on, it adds a degree of complexity. That caused the firefighters to regroup, but they got it out." Thankfully, everyone in the home had gotten out safely and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
I choose this article because it is a miracle that 8 people all got out ok and with no injuries when the fire was getting out of control.

Basically, this article is talking about a tiger that's been loose in Houston for few days has been found and he's unharmed. I think it's weird that you would have one as a pet, let alone let it go missing. If you take the tiger out for a walk at least make sure they're safely secured. You're putting the tiger's and other people's lives in danger because you aren't being a responsible owner. The tiger is your responsibility and they could've lost their lives because Houstonians own guns. Luckily, I don't think the tiger hurt anyone but it's still the possiblity.

Former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos bought a $500 million yacht with a "support" yacht. People are upset that billionaire Jeff Bezos is spending money on a yacht for a smaller yacht. Allegedly, Jeff Bezos hasn't been paying his federal taxes and is making more money now that in 2020 (even with the pandemic). I personally think that he could do some more humanitarian work because he has more money that people use in a lifetime. It wouldn't hurt for him to give a little of his money to charity and help fight unemployment and maybe pay for more people to get access to the vaccine, but I guess not.

However, using heat can take away the nutrients in the food, so researchers found a way to dehydrate food without being harmful. They called it "ionic wind" but instead of using heat it uses voltage. In my opinion this is better because what is the point of eating food if you don't get the nutrients from it. I have definitely seen people on social media dehydrating their food and this new way is much better.

It stated that some states are making laws that ban abortions. The laws are saying that women aren't allowed to get abortions after six weeks of being pregnant, otherwise they were going to jail. For one, how is a law, that was made by men, going to tell women what to do with their bodies. How does abortion affect them in the first place, it doesn't make sense to me. If women aren't allowed to get abortions, not only will that affect the overall world population, but depending on the situation, the foster care system, which is already terrible, will be overrun with children eventually. Some women could've been raped and ended up pregnant and they don't want the baby, or some are too young and aren't ready to take care of a child. Not only would that scar the mother, but also the child because they would think their parents abandoned them because they didn't want them.

The book chronicles the stage and storied tale of the collection and its central role in the project. A knife is supposedly owned by Jim Bowie that was authenticated by a psychic is among the items listed.
Why I choose this:
I choose this because of its title. The Alamo is well known and i thought that it would be hilarious to find out if the artifacts were in fact fake.

Scientists are developing ways to turn sewage into clean energy for America. I found this article really interesting because it shows how fast and well technology is developing for us. I also think that it shows that there isn't any reason to give up hope for our environment just yet. The sewage they are mostly focusing on is hot shower water and sink water, which mostly stays warm in the pipes even in the coldest winters. I wonder how they are developing this technology further and if there is a way to recycle other waste in sewage like plastics or paper.
