Later I changed my job and relocated to Pittsburgh to start the job at Carnegie Mellon University as the engineering librarian. I continued being the liaison librarian to the college of engineering. While conducting library instruction to engineering students, I noticed many students were not aware of artificial intelligence algorithm behind the academic databases when searching. It forms the background of my PoP which is "Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) Engineering Students have Limited Artificial Intelligence Literacy Skills in the University Libraries’ Academic Databases".

The reason I want to pursue an EdD in STEM is I'd like to learn STEM methodologies I can use to promote engineering education from a librarian's perspective. The Pitt EdD in STEM program will support my professional development and academic learning in many ways. I want to explore the tools to identify and frame ways to engage in the conversation of engineering librarianship. I want to talk to people experienced in STEM instructional design and teaching to further improve my teaching practices. Assessment and evaluation are other important components I would like to learn more about. Specifically, I want to learn qualitative methods to evaluate and improve my STEM education practices.
