They way that she would communicate and talk to me was very demeaning and with a tone of voice that insinuated that she knew everything and I knew nothing. Granted, I was the new girl, but she did not make a good first impression. I feel like people respond best to people when they are respected and motivating, at least for me. When I respect someone, I do not want to let them down. Since my first impression of her was negative, it made me not want to listen to what she had to tell me.
