Online library services is to make it easier for users to get the materials in the library. It also teaches us how to use it so that we can use it easily. Among those provided are our collection and our services. The public can also register to become members. this will allow them to get information earlier and more about new material or what material is in the library. This is very helpful for students to get materials in the library especially in this era of covid-19 which has restricted movement and facilities that we can use.

The Library of Congress E-Resources Online Catalog is a catalog for searching and gaining access to electronic research tools (e-resources). This catalog includes licensed resources and recommended free resources on the Web. The database offers information from catalogs, indexing and abstracts, and full -text reference sources containing bibliographic records, abstracts, full -text documents, photographs, statistics, and more. This is a licensed database that restricts access to registered users at the library location and staff. There are also several free access databases. The database source entry contains the database title, alternate title, coverage, description, provider, and topic title. The Database page provides keyword search, browsing by Title, Topic, Reading Room Favorites, Source Type and access to the Experimental Database. Databases are represented by non -MARC records referred to as "source records."

An e-book, a full electronic book is a digital file that contains text and pictures suitable for electronic distribution and is displayed on screen in a manner similar to a printed book. E-books can be created by converting a printer’s source file into a format optimized for easy download and on-screen reading, or can be retrieved from a database or a group of text files that were not created just for printing. material in the library is also available in the eBOOK. The catalog source or metadata for a file may be completely different from the file source itself. In other words, customers may find, read, and purchase an ebook on a retailer’s website, but, when they purchase an e-book, they will download the file directly from the publisher’s or distributor’s server, which may be available on the other side. the world. (The same goes for e-books in public libraries or institutions). This difference is hidden from the customer, but for the business it is very important. This allows e-book files to be stored and managed in one place only (or very few places), although customers may find the file listed for sale or loaned in several places. Without this distinction, all e-book distribution will be done in a closed system, where e-book buyers or library customers must obtain their books
A closed, proprietary system exists where a specific company (or consortium of companies) stores e-book files and operates all places that are accessible to customers or library customers. The system is closed with a special form of digital rights management. In an open system, e-book files may exist only in one place, but anyone can access and download the files (either for purchase or free download), as their metadata is freely available and can be shared freely
