Craigclowan has two rugby pitches. One is next to a car park, which we also play rounders on and it is the under elevens A matches. The rugby pitches are very muddy and are frozen in winter time. In the summer the boys play cricket on the other rugby pitch which we also go on for break times sometimes if the weather is okay. The bottom field is surrounded by trees and has a shed for cricket posts, balls etc. There is also a small container for the rugby balls. 

   Astro turf

Craigclowan  has an amazing astro turf which is used to for tennis and hockey. It is one of the highest points of the school which means when it’s cold it gets more bitter and freezing, it also means you get a fascinating view from up there. It is next to the Mound and, its next pre-school playground and its next 

to the main building of the Pre-school. 

The car park is very important for transport to Craigclowan. There are two car parks, one next to one of the rugby pitches and the other is the netball court. The school also provides bus transport for people that live far away or if their parents can't drop them off. The buses have made getting to school on time very easy for all pupils across the area. 

You get a soft landing if you fall. There is a small group of staff so if you’re scared they come down with you.

The dry ski slope is at the very west of the school. It has a container of ski boots, skis and  helmets. You  can use it in the summer, spring and autumn. It is also part of an extra curricular activity. It can be used by any children from any age from preschool to form 8! It has a dozen t-bars which are plastic handles shaped like t’s which are connected to a moving line.
