One of my favorite things to do is create art. Generally I like to sketch and paint the best, but from a young age I have liked to create things with anything I could get my hands on. In elementary school my school had rotating specials (classes like art, p.e, tech) and every day that had art as the class made me excited. Then on I decided I'd make sure my future had art in it. 

Later on, I'd join visual art whenever the option arose, which applies to electives middle school. In this point in time I got to practice about every day. Different prompts were assigned, and It was always my goal to create an original piece that I was proud of. 

Because of the practice I got, my art had gotten put into the art show at PV Mall (RIP). 

I know I have improved a lot in my artistic ability. And because of practice, I've achieved growth in my art. This shows that finding personal success through things you enjoy is benefiting for a person. I cant say that I've created any masterpiece, or am some sort of prodigy, but thanks to the effort i've put in all these years, I am comfortable with where I am now and is happy to keep practicing so I can get even better.

Throughout my younger school years I have always been interested in plenty of different sports. I tried Soccer, Football, Basketball, Swim, but one that stook out to me was volleyball. I tried it out at a community center, and after trying it out it grew on me. 

Since then I've been becoming better and better at the sport. Through disappointments and achievements, I've reached where I am today. 

Tuesday I learned that I was joining the Freshmen/Sophomore team. This success proves that all of my work towards volleyball has payed off. I continue to pursue my higher goals in hopes of further success.

It started when my family started counting and keeping track of birds we saw, then my dad bought us all a small pair of binoculars. From then on, we'd sometimes wake up early to look for birds and record how many of each species there were. When we went camping out of out town, we'd find places that had congregations of birds and discovered what types there were. This has lead us to find cool places to look, and spend time analyzing the different wildlife. 

Though it may just seem like a fun hobby that doesn't contribute much to my life, I believe this was successful because I learned lots of knowledge about the birds in my area and their habits.
