Had it not been for your encouragement, it probably wouldn't have crossed my mind to even join DECA to begin with, since I felt I already had joined enough clubs by then. But because you encouraged me to join, I felt I simply couldn't pass up on the opportunity, and I'm glad I took the chance. Overall, I just wanted to thank you for being so supportive of me as a student and as a DECA member and encouraging me to go on and excel. When I first started, I have no idea what it was even about. The events and competition wasn't originally my plan, but you were the one to push me to try something new, even though I was nervous about it. And I am so thankful you did, or else I would not have seen the wonderful things that DECA has to offer! Now I am all in this club and as involved as I can be. In addition, your support and guidance for us has been the best, and being a chill, down-to-earth advisor also is something that I appreciate. I cannot even put into words how grateful I am to have been introduced to a world of opportunity in DECA b/c of you, as well as meeting so many like-minded people and finally finding my group. Best teacher I've ever had, period.
