We take care of trees by planting in places that don't have much because trees provide oxygen for us. We could also do small things around the house. For example, turn of lights and tap when no using, don't charge anything overnight, and not use AC or furnace when necessary. Using household chemicals (such as pesticides) can highly affect our local water supply. When it rains the pesticides on our gardens/lawns can run off and go into our local storm drains. These storm drains collect fresh water, which we use as our water supply. With chemicals in our water supply, it can lead to water poisoning (such as cholera) and can even become fatal. With understanding and conversing with other people about our limited water supply, more people will have awareness and think of more eco-friendly options and ways to sustain our fresh water supply. Through this way of understanding the situation, it can also help in sustaining our precious resource supply needed in order to provide for our populations.

Using our water wisely is a good way to do so. We can turn off the tap when we're not using it, we can not dump motor oil, or anything unnatural into storm drains, and we can avoid putting pesticides on our lawns. Other ways we can be environmental Stewart's is simply by picking up litter, or recycling properly. Instead of driving everywhere, people can walk or ride their bikes to places that aren't so far. We could try to buy bags that are reusable, and not plastic. Another thing we could do is buy food that isn't put in plastic wrappers, but reusable packages instead.
