scout is our main character and also our narrator in "TO Kill a Mocking Bird" . She is a very straight forward person and she likes to express her feeling even if it's not necessary. For example when she says , " Atticus was feeble: he was nearly 50..." (Lee pg 58). She is calling her father who is nearly 50 years old by his name and this shows how straight forward she is.

Scout doesn't like her teacher and she doesn't want to school because she thinks she can make a good life without education. In the texts she talks about, "I told Atticus that I don't fell god and that I don't think that I'd go to school anymore." (Lee pg. 28). Here she tells her father that she doesn't want to go to school because of her teacher and that she doesn't need education because her father didn't go to school and he is making a good living. That shows that she hates school because of her teacher.
