We're looking to tie in components from the new Social Studies curriculum while looking at point of view and persuasive writing. I think it will be great to use the lessons from "When I Was Eight". My students loved Shannen and a Dream for a

New School. This book was from 2 years ago and fits right in with the new Social Studies curriculum. It helped the studens to understand how the past affects us today!
