<title>The phases of the moon happens because of the direct light from the sun. The sun only lights half of the moon, so when the moon rotates around the Earth, we see different lit parts. We see this because the moon is rotating around the Earth.</title>

<title>This is a picture of the moon in a way that we see it. While it rotates around the Earth, the moon is still half lit. Do to the rotation, we don&#39;t always see all of the light.</title>

<title>There are two different types of eclipses, a lunar and a solar. A lunar eclipse is when the moon is shadowed by the Earth. A solar eclipse is when the moon cast a shadow on the Earth.</title>

<title>Tides are not waves. A tide is when the water rises and falls. They are caused by the moon&#39;s gravity. We have spring tides and neap tides. Spring tides have the high and low tides while neap tides are in the middle of high and low.</title>
