IEP SMART Goals by

Step 1: Create an individualized content goal and set IEP objectives for one of the key academic areas from the A.P. case study. Step 2: Once you've created the SMART goal and objectives make sure you post-it to the live Padlet thread so that your colleagues can see it. Step 3: Using the attached rubric and checklist view at least two other colleagues created goal and objectives. Then provide 1 positive comment and 1 piece of actionable feedback. Step 4: After receiving feedback create a new Padlet post and use the provided actionable feedback to make a change to your SMART standards-aligned Goal and objectives. Step 5: Prior to submitting the post make sure you review the Rubric Checklist for Submission and the Goal Creation Rubric. Submit the modified new goal on the Summative Google Form.

Instead of focusing on the full skill of essay writing, I would break it down to focus on the essential pieces you want A.P. to have in a single paragraph.
