What is the problem and what are the roots causes of the problem

Child labor is one the main reasons why kids do not go to school. More than 7.7 billion people in the world and more than 3.4 billion of them are in poverty. In addition, more than 43.74% don’t have an education and more than 168 million of them are children in who are forced to do labor. Child labor is a way to get money for some families although it is not a lot of money to support them. At most, families or children working receive about 0.50 cents per day, and one day is 12 hours long. The reasons why children are in labor is because women don’t get paid as much as men do, so if you are the only boy in your family, it is more likely that you will be put up for child labor, since you can make the most money, I know sexist. Your family is so poor that they do not have a enough money for school so you can not get a good job when you are older, so you are still stuck in poverty. Your working environment is even worse, an abusive boss, an environment is hot and sweaty, cramped, filthy, and you are thinking to yourself “I don’t get paid enough”. You start working at age 4 and when you turn 29 you are released for many reasons, one you are not as young as you used to be, two they think you will start arguing with them, and three you are way to hard to be pushed around. So here you are, now sitting on the street begging for money, and watching your family starve to death.

“As they are drowning in a pool of pain.”- Tania Zanetti

“Child labor and poverty are inevitably bound together, and if you continue to use the labor of children as the treatment for the social disease of poverty, you will have both poverty and child labor to the end of time.” -Grace Abbott

You can not see this because these buildings are hidden from the public’s eye, because they know that if people found out that they will either take the kids out of labor or call the police who will take the kids out of labor. Not only will the owners of the factories get mad but the children will too because they have no way to get money for their families. If this does not stop then poverty will keep rising and countries will develop new laws that would give an unfair or fair advantage for the children. This will be bad for the countries because the way some governments get money is by tourist, and if they find out then who would want to come to these types of places. So not only are the factory owners are getting a bad reputation but the government is too.

When taken out of labor then not only are they hurting themselves but hurting their families. With no money they cant feed their families and can't provide basic usentals for them. These children are so poor that they can’t pay for basic education, and without education they can’t get a good job, and poverty will keep getting worse. Soon more than half of the planet will be in poverty, and people will be getting more gerdie. This world will turn into a world of segregation between poor and rich, and people will steal and use each other for money, and everyone will forget who they are.

Unicef believes that before 2020 there will be 100 million kids still in labor, this is not a good number. Yo can help to, you can donate to different organizations, just you can make a difference. Just imagine you or your child if you have one. Are world will never be perfect but lets try to get it close, and that starts my getting rid of child labor. Together we are the world we are family.
