Dear Mr Lương,

We are year 7 from Vinschool the Harmony. In our ESL class, we are doing a project about the locals and neighbourhoods. We are asked to write this letter and brainstorm ideas to improve our community and neighbourhood.

Our neighbours are very kind and friendly. The area we are living in is also lovely with a lot of trees along the side and many royal decorations. However, there are still many problems existing in the neighbourhood.

Litters, garbage and trash are nearly all over the place. Every day, there is a lot of trash being littered on the street and put in the wrong place. Many of them are wasted food, water bottles, milk tea bottles and paper. It makes people very uncomfortable with the smell as well as making the street very dirty and untidy. 

We would like the manager to propagate about garbage sorting and recycling trash. The manager can also design more posters about saving the environment.

There is also a lot of shoplifting and stealing in the neighbourhood. A lot of the neighbours claim that they have seen people stealing cars, motorbikes or even food at restaurants. We would like to have more security cameras and a serious security guide.

Last but not least is noise pollution. We heard a lot of loud karaoke, music and construction noise. Most of them happen in the evening and at night. Loud sounds that are over 60 DB can cause various health issues. It can also make people hard to sleep and work. So our recommendation is to propagate and make more rules about noise pollution and time of construction to not affect others.

We are 7th-grade students of Vinschool the Harmony, so today we would like to talk about the problem of the local neighborhood and the solution to fix it. First of all, people in our local neighborhood are very lazy to recycle garbage and do a lot of things that affect the environment. 

The second thing is that the security of our local neighborhood is very weak so a lot of people have lost their things. 

The last thing is we noticed that there are very few convenience stores or clothes stores so sometimes people have to go very far away to find a store.

So we have some solutions that can help to fix the problems, we can design a poster about protecting the environment or we can create a waste sorting. For the second problem, we can hire more guards to increase safety. For the last problem, we can build some more convenience stores. 

Finally, we hope our of ideas can help to improve the local neighborhood

We are Nguyen Cat Nhi and Ha Gia Linh, students who are in grade 7 from Vinschool the Harmony. We have recently learned about protecting our neighborhood and creating a healthy environment around us. As soon as we were inspired by those lessons, we decided to write a letter in hope of improving this place as well.

This neighborhood is quite lively and crowded, but still very eco-friendly, with lots of trees and plants due to your hard work. It’s also very convenient to move through places since the shops and stores are nearby. The people here communicate in a very respectful way and help each other a lot. We must say that this is a nice neighborhood to be a part of, but there are still some problems that we must solve.

There are some stray animals which have rabies and they are roaming around here quite often. We think that they don’t have an owner and that can cause a lot of trouble. There are also still some pets that are not under their owner’s control and they would make a big mess. The best option to solve this is to call animal’s control, or hire an expert to watch over the stray animals. And as for the pets, we suggest you add a new policy for owners to be more responsible and look out for their little friends.

There are many walls covered in graffiti drawings, it makes the place look unsanitized and doesn’t fit the neighborhood aesthetic. We think it would be better if we create posters and encourage people to volunteer and clean them off with Methylene Chloride, which is an ingredient that will help to wipe off the graffiti completely. This activity would, of course, involve us. Though the graffiti drawings have to be removed, we still want people to stay with their creativity and their hobbies by doing it somewhere more appropriate.

From daytime, the neighborhood becomes busy, and there would be a lot of traffic noises, people talking, and other kinds of sounds. When it comes to night, this neighborhood is filled with irritating noises created by nearby neighbors, which can be loud singing, musics, shoutings, and a lot more. This will cause disturbance to other neighbors that need a relaxing or a peaceful, quiet time. We suggest that you would add a new policy for people to try controlling their own volume if unnecessary.

  We are Tue Anh and Minh Anh, year 7 students at Vinschool the Harmony. In our ESL class today, we have learned about community and people; since then, we have noticed our neighborhood. And we wrote this letter to share our opinion on improving our community.

  Our neighborhood is a lovely and wonderful place for people to live and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Many trees, plants, and flowers make this place much more lively, which also mentions everyone's contribution to nature, flowers, and plants here. For us, this is such a spectacular community to live in, bringing many interests to people from the first sight. Still, we think that our neighborhood needs a little improvement to make an absolutely perfect community since there are still some problems, so please take our ideas as a contribution.

  Firstly, starting with a small problem, even if you have come up with a brilliant idea, to put a small trash can in front of every house, people still litter, throw their trash out of the street which makes it look dirty, unprofessional and kind of smelly. Which affects other people's experience in the neighborhood and makes the laborer have to work harder. Social media posts in which this problem is told, could be a way to solve this problem. Or you could start to punish people who litter the street. For example, money punishment. This might be a little bit too harsh for a little problem like this but not everyone is responsible enough to follow your rules nowadays so if you want our community to be cleaner you will have to be stricter.  

  Secondly, lately we have noticed graffiti on the walls, especially in unbuilt houses. This is very unsightly and subtle when there are many graffiti drawings on the wall in a residential area that is considered luxurious and beautiful by everyone. It will take a lot of work for the cleaner to clean up the graffiti. When we encounter graffiti, we can take a photo and warn the painter, if this action is repeated, it can be considered as destructive behavior on others belonging. We can add rules and punishments for the painter. 

  Finally, this is very important since theft or robbery is happening a lot nowadays, even our security system seems like it is okay, for example, the other day someone discovered someone broke into their garden but fortunately they couldn't get into the house (this is a true story and known by the footprints on the wall). With a reputation as a prestigious residential area, we should put the lives of the residents first. In order to prevent the above cases from happening, we should make sure and remind people to close all doors before going to bed and put more cameras in residential areas. We must tighten security for the safety of the residents.

  We hope that our ideas will help us create a more civilized, clean and beautiful community than before, and will get approved by the management of  Vinhome Riverside, The harmony. All residents want to see a good perspective about our neighborhood.

  However, there are still problems that we should solve. Firstly, my neighbourhood has some litter. It's not too much, but if we can improve this part, then it would be amazing. Our solution is that we need to propagate in our community the importance of sorting garbage and throwing trash in the right place, as soon as we also follow these rules to protect our local environment.

  Another idea that we've come up with is to improve relationships between neighbours. It's great if people around us can live together happily. Children will have friends who live nearby, allowing them to talk and play at any time. We can also help others if we have problems with something and ask for help.

  We also hope our neighbourhood can stop using plastic products. As you might have known, plastic products cause very serious consequences. They destroy the environment and also take a very long time to decompose. Due to these reasons, we want to encourage our neighbourhood to stop using unnecessary plastic products that are able to be replaced, and we're looking forward to your help.

Vinschool the Harmony a big school which have many rows of trees and colorful flowers. There are large spaces at the backyard and frontyard with basketball and football court for students to play and relax during breaktime at lunch. Opposite the school has a very comfortable atmosphere and there are many basketball courts, tennis courts,... Not only that, there is also a large lake located in the center of Vinhomes Riverside the Harmony.

Firstly, we noticed that in the school in general and at the FreshGarden Cafe in particular had alot of litters and trash on the tables and on the ground too. Some students are currently littering indiscriminately after eating or buying things at the FreshGarden (or anywhere in the school). So we would like to have two compartment trash cans around the school for students to sort out types of garbage and maybe we could recycle with some of the reusable trashes like cups and straws,... And reduce the quantity of disposable products. We can also make some rules, if the students is not following the rules many times, they will meet punishments.

The second problem is noise pollution. Especially when lunch break, the noise of the school was so loud we can’t even hear eachother, our idea is to sort out each activity rooms around the school and should put the basketball columns in front of the school yard away because the players might get injured or interrupted by walkers and might lead to an argument.

Thirdly, bullying. There are two types of bullying, cyberbullying and school bullying. Bullying occurs in all schools, Vinschool the Harmony also has many cases related to bullying. This behavior needs to be dealt with very seriously. Most victims of bullying are younger siblings (or some older siblings too), classmates, etc.

If we are the ones being bullied online, we should ignore their messages, block the account, capture the messages as evidence and report it to our parents and teachers for help. Next is school bullying. Bullies often find hidden places that no one can see to bully someone undetected. If we are getting bullied in school, we must report to the teachers and parents for timely handling.

 Dear Sir/Madam,

 I am a Year 7 student living in Vinhomes Harmony, me and my class are being asked by our ESL teacher who teaches in Vinschool The Harmony to come up with ideas to improve this neighbourhood and since I live here, I am contacting you for help.

 Vinhomes Harmony is a nice place, there are a lot of trees and flowers, there's a nice atmosphere accompanied with a big central lake, the area features many areas such as tennis courts, basketball courts and 2 types of golf and many more things , however there are some issues that I believe should be fixed in order to further improve the neighbourhood.

 To begin, I would like to point out that there are some issues in Vinhomes Harmony, one of the most important issues that we believe is causing a decently major issue is the fact that there aren't enough restrictions and enforcement on parking, many people in our neighbourhood park on all 4 wheels on the sidewalks, making it unsafe for people who are trying to walk from here to there, even if there aren't many cars going in some of these areas and the fact that there are very little major accidents that happened in the past months, I think that it never hurts to be a bit more safe and secure.

 Other issues also include the fact that people's pets are doing their "natural functions" on other people's property, witnesses in the neighbourhood have caught some people in our being irresponsible with the disposal of "special materials", it includes, excreting "special water" on people's plants which harms the plants and doesn't really work with the motto of Vinhomes, walking in other people's homes and causing trouble (many of the people here have experienced the misery of dogs going around is our home and covering it in dirty footprints which are annoying to clean up), while I don't dislike dogs, I dislike the fact that these pet owners aren't being responsible with their pets and other people's property and I would appreciate if the administration could tighten up the enforcements and carry out fines, Vinhomes also has an abundance of camera systems so it would be great if more security guards could be hired and watching and looking out of these pesky dogs.

 And for the last issue, me and the others have found the lighting in the streets to be a bit dark, the light color is a bit warm and while the signs showing what street you are going into are fine, the street lights are a bit dark, some of us living here have walked on the sidewalks and found trying to look and identify things a bit difficult, this is a safety issue as if the lights aren't bright enough, moving objects like people on bikes and motorcycles may not be seen until they come crashing into you and causing injuries.

 I believe that these issues should be fixed in the future because the residents of Vinhomes also want to the best for our neighbourhood, we also want our neighbourhood to be of better quality and to have a better atmosphere.

     We're Quynh Anh and Thanh Hang, and we're seventh graders from Vinschool. We would like to provide suggestions to improve the community, as we feel that there is a lot of room for improvement.

   Our town is a rather beautiful place, with many lively children though rather wild, and is very close to the city, and so has a stable economy. However, every town has its own shortcomings.

     In this case, the children can be overly mischievous. Many neighbours often don't understand their admittedly slightly perverted sense of humour, which include as ringing doorbells and running away, doing wheelies, giving wedgies, or committing inappropriate actions in public. There have also been reports of bullying. Fortunately, this problem can be easily solved, as long as effort is put in. All of these problems are caused by a lack of knowledge, and a failure to educate their children properly on the parents' part. This can be changed with mandatory educational courses held by the town council.

     Another problem is the social stigma against the LGBT+ community. Many people are homophobic and/or transphobic, and people who don't fit the mold of a stereotypical person who is heterosexual and cisgender are looked down on. We aim to slowly change people's opinions and broaden their minds, which can be achieved by holding talks and putting up posters to encourage people to be LGBT+ friendly.

     Last but not least, prices have been increasing drastically. For instance, the price of gasoline has increased by almost 50% in previous years, which is distressing for people who barely have enough to make ends meet. We suggest increasing people's financial intelligence, as it'll improve the local economy as well as teach the residents to be independent. Again, hosting talks by successful investors or CEOs would greatly help, as well as change the view that the rich are evil. If the town council does all the work in improving the economy, the people will grow dependent on them.

 We are students from Vinschool the Harmony and we are writing this letter to you because we want to improve the Vinhomes Community. There are some issues that we and our community want the local council to fix. If possible, we would like you to fix it.

 This is a lively neighbourhood and overall a good place to live. This place also includes a lot of services, markets and also some supermarkets.  

         First of all, there have been recent accidents in the past few weeks that can affect the community. Many cars have been crashing into each other because the lighting from the lamppost is old and is not high quality as it was from the beginning. We demand you fix or upgrade it now because it affects our safety.

         Secondly, the streets for cars to drive on are not large enough, and people crash because the street lights’ timing is wrong. This is potentially very dangerous because these accidents are very dangerous for the local communities and us people.

         Thirdly, we need cleaner rivers and lakes to ensure aquatic life here is safe and secure. We fish here every day and overall rubbish could affect our lives. 

         Finally, we should make more parking lots for families with cars to park our cars here. There are too few parking spaces so the only place we can park is on the pavement and on the roads. This affects the space to drive and causes more accidents.

         Ultimately, Vinhomes is a really comfortable place to live and stay for decades. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, entertainment centres, sports courts, and much more. However, to make this place a better place for everyone to live. Including our suggestions above will help the community a lot.

Dear Sir,
         We are 7th-grade students from Vinschool the Harmony and we are writing this letter to you for an ESL project and also because we want to improve the Vinhomes Community. There are some issues that we and our community want the local council to fix. If possible, we would like you to fix it.

         Before we start, we would like to point out good positive points that Vinhomes really have. Firstly, there are many sports courts such as 5 basketball courts, 2 football courts, 10 tennis courts, and 2 different types of golf courts one on the ground and one beside the big central lake. The view is also very nice, and beautiful with many varieties of plants and flowers. There are also a lot of markets, swimming pools and much more. The central lake makes the air cooler and really really relaxing to take a walk. However, we believe that there are still things to improve in Vinhomes to make it an even better place for people to live.

         Secondly, the streets for cars to drive on are not large enough, and people crash because the street lights’ timing is wrong. This is potentially very dangerous because these accidents are very dangerous for the local communities and us people.

         Thirdly, we need cleaner rivers and lakes to ensure aquatic life here is safe and secure. We fish here every day and overall rubbish could affect our lives. 

         Finally, we should make more parking lots for families with cars to park our cars here. There are too few parking spaces so the only place we can park is on the pavement and on the roads. This affects the space to drive and causes more accidents.

         Ultimately, Vinhomes is a really comfortable place to live and stay for decades. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, entertainment centres, sports courts, and much more. However, to make this place a better place for everyone to live. We hope you can include these ideas in future projects and make Vinhomes even better.
