This day people celebrate the ressurrection of Jesus Christ.
The tradicion of that holiday is to give egg hunt. 
The easter bunny and the egg hunt are symbols of fertility and prosperity.

The Easter Sunday marks the climax of the Passion of Christ and is preceded by Lent, a period of forty days of fasting, prayers and penances.
