She then goes on to show us even more inelegance by talking about stars and Venus. then opens up to the audience of how she can talk to Phil because he understands her and asks him what the happiest moment of his life was, she states her's but he doesn't remember experiencing it with her. then suddenly the mood changes and she tells phil how she killed her hamster seeking help from him of why she did it. when she hears of Alice's death Leah is in disbelief as she has no part in her death. Then when Alice comes back she is there for her and empathises with Alice trying to get everyone to make her feel comfortable. she also goes against Phil's wishes to change his mind on killing her. She is completely in love with Phil and will do anything to grab his attention and defend him. Everyone within the group looks to the both of them for guidance and advice but when it comes down to it Phil always has the final say. They both had nothing to do with Alice's death but are left to clean up the groups mess Their relationship is so one sided that it could make the audience think how did they even get together in the first place and why hasn't she left him yet. By the end of the play we see how Phil has pushed Leah over the edge and completely breaks her forcing her to actually leave him. Unfortunately both of leah's grand parents are dead on both sides. Her dad has two brothers (Stephen,42)(Michael,47) who all work in their family's construction business and her mother is an only child.
