While it encourages reflection and meta cognitive skills, it is not clear how we should use it for assessment especially with the rubric that typically goes with it. https://padlet.com/kerstin_okubo1/rd3213nk8l8m/wish/354212352 I have to admit that although the ALCs were not given an official grade in my class, I still assigned a huge hw and participation grade to them. This is how I got the students to give them due diligence. (most of them did anyway)
