14. Trump should not put more troops in Afghanistan because we need to recover from all the war we have been in and all the people we have lost. They have a problem that they need to figure out, we shouldn't be involved. Especially when so many lives are lost and we are putting a lot of our taxes towards fighting.

13. For both the Jews and Women, it was said that it was a crime to be them. For being who they were, these people were severely punished. Brutal 🤬 and harm came to these people, making them similar.

11. In the 1980s, the U.S.'s main concern was to get rid of communist Soviet Union from Afghanistan and we supported the Mujahadeen, but today we are fighting against the terrorist groups that came out of the same group we supported.
9. Before the emergence of the Taliban, women were flourishing and Afghanistan was a a very progressive country for women's rights, but since the emergence, however, women are being oppressed and have little to no rights.

The experience of women have changed by the taliban emerging, Women have to cover up and are unable to learn with the rule of the taliban. also woman get punished sometimes just for being women. like they can can get their fingers cut off for having their nails painted.

10.

13. The Jews and the people of Afghanistan have had people oppress them. The Nazis oppressed the Jews, while the Taliban did it to the Afghan people. They are different in that the Jews were oppressed by other people, the Germans, while the people of Afghanistan were oppressed by other Afghans, the Taliban
14. While I would normally agree with Trump's policies, and I would have agreed with the "War on Terror," I would say that we probably need to pull out of Afghanistan. Nothing much is really coming out of the war, and I think we need to adopt a policy that is more non-interventionalism. We don't need to waste the taxpayer's money with endless wars that seem to be going on forever

3. Women are forced to cover their entire faces and the rest of their body at all times out of the house. The are not allowed to show their face, which is something that makes a person unique. By oppressing women with clothing, they are not letting women be anything more than a person whose sole purpose is to be a house wife to their husbands.
2. As the Taliban has emerged, women have lost many basic rights that all people should be able to have. They are not allowed to participate in politics, have a job, or even wear nail polish without facing some sort of punishment. Afghan women have also lost their voting rights so they don't have a voice in government now.

During WWII, Jews were labeled with certain symbols and forced to show certain things in order to be identified as a Jew. Today, Afghan women are forced to wear concealing clothing, which in a way identifies them as an Afghan woman. Jews were also forced to live in certain parts of the country, or even in certain buildings. Although Afghan women are not forced to live somewhere special, but the first levels of their homes are boarded up so others cannot see the women inside.

The Taliban tries to control the Afghan women by putting different rules in place that they are supposed to follow such as not showing skin, banned from working, and banned from going to school to get an education.
3. Clothing is used as a means of opression in Afghanistan especially for women because women are not supposed to show any skin and were forced to wear specific clothing that covered their entire bodies. In most places, clothing can be used as a way to express yourself and gives you a feeling of control because you get to choose what you wear everyday. In Afghanistan, women are not able to do that which creates the feeling of opression.

They are trying to control afghan women by keeping them in the house with boards covering the windows, not letting them go outside alone, and making them cover every part of the skin. A comparison to the Jews and Afghans under the Nazis and Taliban's rules are that a whole group of people were treated very badly and stripped from rights that they should have like education and freedom. Yet, the afghans are more controlled by staying in and just getting new rules but the jews were treated a lot more harshly and forced to do work.
