Take the book Harry Potter for example, just because people have a religion that does not agree with the books plot that doesn't mean that other people shouldn't be able to read it. Just because it may go against your religion, not everybody is going to be offended by it. Other people will want to read the book and if you don't like the book just don't read it. Yes, the book does have some gruesome parts that are violent, but it is a book that a lot of people enjoy reading, so one group of people that feel it is too violent should not encourage people to not read the book by it not being in the library
