Community members should not be able to control the library because other people might have a different opinions about a certain topics like if a book is bad or not. Take the book Harry Potter for example, just because people have a religion that does not agree with the books plot that doesn't mean that other people shouldn't be able to read it. Just because it may go against your religion, not everybody is going to be offended by it. Other people will want to read the book and if you don't like the book just don't read it. If you have a bad opinion about something you can steer away from it instead of punishing the other people eally enjoy it.

Community members should NOT be able to control what books are in the library. This is because just one person or multiple people shouldn't control what all other people should be aloud to do. For example, in Harry Potter, the book was challenged for explicit violence. Yes, the book does have some gruesome parts that are violent, but it is a book that a lot of people enjoy reading, so one group of people that feel it is too violent should not encourage people to not read the book by it not being in the library

People should be able to have their own opinion, but they can't change the publication single handed. The community as a whole could make a change, by challenging it to possibly ban it.

I believe that the community members should be able to control what books are in the library to a certain extent. For example...if there is a book about a gay couple and the community members are anti-gay than i don't think they have the right to do jremove the book just because it is against there political/or religious beliefs. However if there is a book like killing Mr. Griffin where the kids kill there teacher than i think they have every right to do so because it provokes violent behavior. But there is always the situation where is really is bad like the example i just made
