         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think her starting a scholarship that related to helping black kids to see themselves in the books they read, really stood out to me because that's an impact on a race specific issue. Sometimes kids of color don't see their worth and takes a lot away from them.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I don't think any of what Rudine Bishop's ideas were conflict with any of my own experiences. In my early school years, I've never really experienced anything like what is going on in the world now. But I know that I can talk to any of my friends of color and not judge them or feel judged about asking about how they feel and what it's like to be a person of color. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think the starting at an young age with any student, not just student of color, helping them realize they are worth more and they play an important role in anyone's life. I believe in making my students feel welcomed and judgement free because everyone is equal and no one will be considered "better" in my classroom.  </div>]]></description>
