Active learning approaches to teaching and learning help to engage and motivate students to learn since it allows them to present their own knowledge about a certain topic and make a network between their prior knowledge and the new learning. Also, this raise their self-esteem to present their own interpretation, build a joy and passion to reflect their existing knowledge, and construct their own efficient structure of learning. For example, when explaining the identification test in biology, all the students want to put their spot on it and build a challenge between them.

Active learning not only is consider a main tool of class activation and engagement but it is a useful method for assessment. When doing hands on activities students can test and analyze what they have learnt. During this week my students learnt push and pull and how to measure force using a forcemeter. Going tot the lab and using a forcemeter themselves and measure their own pencil cases helped them grasp the information better

Through activities such as discussions, group work, and hands-on experiments my students become active participants in my class. I also encourage my students to apply the concepts they learn in real-world applications and collaborate with their peers. For example, I asked my students to build a parachute that stays in the air for 20 seconds, encouraging them to explore the principles of gravity and air resistance.
