Climate mitigation is not moving fast, nor is it aggressive enough to avoid some of the worst impacts of climate change over the coming decades. Thus, geoengineering is getting increased attention, and model simulations exist. However, very few have looked at how CI would impact agriculture, animal and human health, etc. CSU is in a position to lead in this emergent research area - an area the National Academy has recommended the US government fund in coming years.
