I live in Velez, Santander. I live with my mother, my father, my brother, my uncle and my pet. I live in a big apartment. My neighborhood has many stores, restaurants, coffee shops and a park. It is a beautiful place. In the day there are many birds and at night you can see the moon and stars.

I usually get up at 7:00 a.m. I have breakfast at 7:40 a.m. I prepare a sandwich with orange juice. I get to work walking. I have lunch at 01:00 p.m. I prepare chicken, rice, fruit and juice. I go back home at 7:00 p.m. After work I go to the gym. I have dinner at 10:00 p.m. I prepare eggs and coffee. I go to bed at 11:00 p.m. I watch Netflix with my family or we go out. I study English three times a week.

 

I live in Velez, and I am going to talk about this great town. Velez is a small town located in Santander, Colombia. It is a tourist town, and there is the iglesia atravesada and Cueva de los indios. 

 

On august 7^th, people usually celebrate the festival nacional de la guabina y el tiple. People usually drinking, singing and dancing for one week. 

 

Finally, in my town, you can visit famous places, enjoy typical food like the bocadillo, copete veleño and piquete veleño. In addition, there can walking and enjoy nature.

The main touristic places in Velez are iglesia atravesada and Cueva del indio.

The typical food in my city is piquete veleño, bocadillo and copete veleño

piquet veleño is prepared with meat, corn on the cob, chorizo, chicken, creole potato, pork rinds and rellenas.

The main celebrations in my town are the birthday of Velez and festival nacional de la guabina y el tiple.

Ø  What do people do in those celebrations? 

People usually drinking, singing and dancing.
