Before Tet, people always go shopping to buy new things, they clean the house and prepare five fruit tray and make offering trays. At Tet, the family watch the fireworks at midnight. Everyone visits relatives and friends and the children receive lucky money. In short, Tet is extremely important in Viet Nam. Everyone likes Tet.</p>]]></description>

This festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month every year with full moon at night. Preparations making moon cakes and colorful lanterns. On the festival day, children participate in latern, lion dance, make star-shaped latern and enjoy moon. Adults eat some moon cakes, drink some green tea and talk to each other about life stories.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Tet is one of the biggest traditional festivals in Viet Nam. Tet is celebrated at the end of January and lasts for 6-7 days. Tet is the moment between the new year and the old year and it also represents the warmth in the family when everyone gathers together. Tet has 3 main days; however, it often takes VietNamese people a week to prepare beforehand. They clean their house and decorate it with flowers and trees such as a kumquat tree or peach blossom. A amount of food ingredients will be bought before Tet to make traditional dishes: Banh Chung, Gio Cha, candies,...During the 3 main days of Tet, people visit their relatives' house and give them wishes. Children will send wishes to adults and receive lucky money envelopes. Tet includes not only happiness but also long-standing event in people's souls.</p>]]></description>

In addition, during this time, Vietnamese people will perform worshiping ceremonies to end the old year such as: Preparing the altar, worshiping Mr. Cong, Mr. Tao, and worshiping the New Year.
