         <description><![CDATA[<div>You can see the effects of <strong>acid rain</strong> nearly everywhere you go, but with media and public attention turned to the more ominous prospect of global warming, acid rain has fallen by the wayside. <br><em>Emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides react with water vapor in the atmosphere to create sulfuric and nitric acids.</em><strong><br>In order to stop acid rain we need to&nbsp; proceed the following steps:<br>-to use coal that contains less sulfur<br>-people can use renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power<br>- car manufacturers are required to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides and other pollutants released by new cars<br>-Some new cars can also use cleaner fuels, such as natural gas.<br></strong><br></div>]]></description>
