Some may argue that the fight against prejudice is quite ineffective as it is difficult to control the feelings or mindsets of others. However, I personally believe that it is not because more measures made by the government, community and individuals have been implemented to combat prejudice have proven to be successful.

Stand: Although the fight against prejudice has been there for quite some time to eliminate inequalities, such as racism, ageism, and inequality of social classes, I strongly believe that the fight for it is futile. This is because prejudice can be reduced, but is definitely not possible to eliminate prejudice wholly. Human nature as well as culture upbringing serves as the main factors in not eradicating prejudice totally.

Some may argue that the fight against prejudice is quite futile because it is deeply rooted in human nature and ingrained in minds of humans since young.
However, I personally believe that through different measures implemented by the government as well as cooperation between individuals and the society, the issue of prejudice can be successfully diminished eventually.

It is commonly perceived that the war against prejudice is pointless In contrary, there has been visible progress in society to debunk that sweeping statement. Over the past few decades, many hard-fought battles against prejudice have been won over.

Many would argue that racism is still rampant and is prevalent in multi-racial countries. This is evident in frequent racial hate crimes around the world. The tension between different races is still significant

However, After the iconic speech by Martin Luther King Jr., the blacks are no longer crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination.

some may debate over the fruitlessness of the fight against prejudice,as some people have deep rooted opinions of others, and these mindsets can be very difficult to eradicate . However i personally feel that that we should indeed continue fighting against prejudice as equality is extremely important in order to maintain peace and harmony in modern society today.

OVR:

OV: The fight against prejudice have reduced sexism ,which is the negative female sentiments that derive from the belief that females are worth less or less capable than males. Women in the 21st century can now enjoy the rights to vote, right to education and freedom of speech in most developed countries such as the USA and the UK. Aung San Suu Kyi, the foreign affairs minister is a standing example of this.

R: However, women in the developing countries are still facing the issue of sexism. In countries such as Saudi Arabi, women are suppressed from their freedom. Also, in countries such as India, there is an increased number of reports on rapes cases and, sexually abused women. Foe example, in the recent New Delhi gang rape on a 23-year old physiotherapy student. She was assaulted mercilessly and inhumane way by 6 men. This proves that women in such developing countries are still surpressed by institutional bias and societal norms. Due to that, though fights against prejudice have been ongoing in developing countries, women are still viewed as worthless and less capable than males in the society.

Yes, this is a very good OVR para!!
