I quite like reading book,especially in my free time. I read (gr) many novel, however, i (gr) really impressive with the novel of The Thorn Birds written by australianr (spelling) author Colleen Mccullough. I have never read a better than this one before .It is full of pain and has haunted generations of readers . The novel tells the love story between Meggie Cleary and Ralp de Brassart, a little girl and a priest with a 19 year age difference. A love contrary to God's will, from the beginning could not have a perfect ending, thereby opening a series of tragedies that lasted for all three generations. It is not like others (word choice) novel, this novel is not as romantic and happy as other ones. Although “ The Thorn Birds” doesn’t have a good ending, it still leaves a strong impression on me. That is literally a feeling of painful and sad. In additions. There is a quote that I love in this book: Because all the best can only be achieved at the cost of extreme suffering”.
