Their facility really helps every kid's sickness, or injury, so they could help with ours. I don't necessarily need to go to the hospital even though it does hurt. But Logan does. He goes to the doctor a lot, and is completely unable to run, or jump, so he really does need some help. We both wish we really didn't have problems, and maybe children's mercy could find a cure for Osgood-Schlatters, which is what we both have. 
We also chose to do Children's Mercy because Logan's mom works there. Logan's mom is really cool, and always brightens my day when I see her. She has the best conversations, and really puts Logan in his place when he gets naughty. I once went on a whole 8 hour car ride to Texas, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. She also sometimes takes me home from school, and takes me, and Logan places like parks and houses. She is super nice, and we really just wanted to help her out her organization.

We were planning on making one per each age group, and this should really help make people's stays easier. We will need either donations from a dress down day, family members, or class mates. The happy kits will help kids of all ages feel more comfortable. They are super easy to make, but a little pricey, so this will be very, very easy, unless we don't get donations.
