         <description><![CDATA[<div>The cells use carbs for energy. Starch and fiber carbs are the same materials, except joined differently and have different effects on the body. Starchy foods digest easily &amp; quickly release glucose in blood, while high-fiber foods digest slower. The pancreas makes insulin to convert sugar to energy. Insulin resistance increases blood pressure and risk of type 2 diabetes and too many carbs are a problem.</div>]]></description>
