Refer to these prompts & write your own reflection in your e-portfolio (under 'Reflection')

• Personal growth & Challenges: What was the most challenging part of developing your story, and how did you overcome it? What did you learn about yourself as a writer through these challenges?

  
  

• Character Development: Think about the characters you created in your narrative. How did you ensure they were realistic and relatable?

  
  

• Setting and Atmosphere: Consider the setting of your narrative. How did you decide on the location and time period of your story?

  
  

• Plot Structure: Reflect on the structure of your narrative. How did you plan the rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution? What changes did you make while writing & why?

  
  

• Feedback and Revision: Describe the feedback you received from peers or teacher. How did this feedback influence your revisions? Why do you think receiving feedback is important?

Post your final essay as a word document

In groups or individually, get students to write out each section on manila card or mahjong paper

They can add visual elements by adding printed pictures/drawings

Advanced students can do without the movie/music video/TV series prompt - get them to post a random picture & generate ideas based on that

Weaker students can be given samples for each section to use as a guide

Advanced students can create an e-portfolio individually while weaker students can work in pairs/groups

Primary students can work from a simple plot structure (beginning, middle, end)

Pick a movie, TV series or music video you like

Post a picture, gif or video (max 3 mins) that shows the *climactic scene

Add another post identifying

• Who is in the visual

• What is happening

• Where is it taking place

• When does it take place (past, present, future, year)

• Why are they there

  
  

Get students to give feedback for each step by commenting on their posts (students will need to change their setting to 'Visitor permission: writer' and 'Link privacy: secret')

If you have a larger class, limit the feedback process to smaller groups (so students will only share their e-portfolio within their group)

After the e-portfolio is complete, students can

• share their e-portfolio with their family and friends outside of their classroom & collect evidence of 'public' feedback - they can add these to their e-portfolio

• present their experience to their class

• compete in a writing contest

• create a diorama display for their story

• participate in a story-telling competition
