         <description><![CDATA[<div>for the control group we used a cup of dirt with fertilizer and a whole strawberry with the top cut off. we watered it on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We used the lamp for sun light and only took it out to water it.  our plant did not grow because it molded over. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>for our experimental group we put 3 seeds from the strawberry in the same size cup as the one in the control group but with out fertilizer. we also decided to give it less sun and water. It died from causes unknown. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li>Create a data table that includes the following information:<ol><li>Mass (grams) control:  256.6 - 316.9         experimental: 182.7 - 300.5</li><li>Height control: no growth      experimental: no growth</li><li>Width control:  no growth experimental: no growth</li><li>both of the plants did not grow or at least not visibly.</li><li>Percent Change in Mass every time you collect data (we will discuss how to calculate this later). 60.3 for control and 118 for experimental</li></ol></li><li>Include labeled pictures of each plant for each time your collect data.  Think back to the time lapse video shown in class on regeneration.  their was really no change after we planted them so these are the only pictures I'm going to put up because they all look the same.</li></ol><div>EXPERIMENTAL</div>]]></description>

(What evidence do you have of stem cells being present in your plant scrap?)&nbsp;</li><li>Students who tried using only the leaf portion of the plant, the fruit of the plant, or the flower portion of the plant did not see any regrowth.&nbsp; Explain why some students’ experiments failed.)&nbsp;</li><li>because the leaf is not a stem cell and you cant grow anything from it.</li><li>Summarize the results of your experiment.&nbsp;</li><li>our plant did not grow at all there was only a slight change in mass. it molded over and we had to though it away.</li><li>Explain whether your data supported or refuted your hypothesis.</li><li>refuted sadly both our strawberry plants died with in the first 2-3 weeks, if they ever where alive in the first place.</li><li>Explain any improvements you could make and/or any errors that occurred during the lab experience.</li><li>I think we should have used just the seeds from the strawberry and I also think we might have over watered them.</li></ul>]]></description>
