At first I was not sure if I was going to be able to teach my subject efficiently, but over the years I have found that my students have a good knowledge base in higher grades, as well as being fluent in English.
I have been experimented different means and strategies for teaching that I would like to share with you just to give you more possibilities and resources to apply in your classes.

Currently I work for the syndicate ANPE supporting other teachers with their ploblems and recognitions.
After 13 years working in research, I decided to jump to teaching in the private sector. I liked the experience and got engaged with the competency curriculum, but not the rigid methodology.
Everything changed when I become a part of the public faculty. This environment allowed me and encouraged me to try new methodologies to achieve a meaningful learning among the students.
I will try to learn as much as I can in this course.

Currently, I don´t teach any of my subjects with this methodology. But years ago,  "I taught " technology , or at least trying to do my best , in english. 
From my experience, I notice that students were more foccused working in a different way. They came to class more motivated because they enjoy the class, they participated continuously with me.
On the other hand, the work I have to prepare before hand the classes was hard, because the editorials didn´t offer the same resourcess as the same subject in spanish.

I had been working in private company during 10 years. 5 fears ago I started to work as a teacher in Catalonia this is the first year I work in Valencia I'm really glad. I hope this course open my mind and I will try to inprove new skills. I want to learn and show it how it works with my students.

I was a Visiting teacher in Dallas, Texas (2016/17). 

This summer, I went to Oxford with GVA programme.

The thing is that I never use my English because I haven't had the opportunity to apply in my classes what I've learnt.

Most of the times, when I observe CLIL methodologies, I realize that these methods are based on isolated activities instead of consistent instruction. From my point of view, it seems a massive bombing of "funny activities", but English isn't used in the clasroom at all. So, parents see beautiful notebooks and worksheets, but there isn't a real improvement of English.

During all this time I’ve been working, I noticed that explaining specific contents in English is a challenge, above all, because is pretty difficult to maintain the interest and the attention of the students. 

For these reasons, I am doing this course. I want to learn different strategies to foster their participation and make the learning process fun, even if it is in another language.
