Phase II-Check out this innovative Opportunity Central Entrepreneurship HS (College, Career, Community) outside of Dallas that Lauren and I visited recently. Yes, the facility is impressive but even more impressive is the engagement of students. The budding entrepreneurs were amazing. This type of model would bring equity of opportunity for all SDPC students, communities, and lifelong learning.

SC 17 Career Clusters

This visioning phase is so important before we jump to the design phase. SC has defined 17 Career Clusters (with incredible resources) based on broad categories of occupations (eg. Information Technology, Agriculture, Hospitality and Tourism.) Perhaps we can define the top clusters to consider for this northernmost geographical area and then move on to defining specific pathway programs based on student, school, community, and workforce needs.
