Are people fishing or hunting there? people are hunting for commercial reasons but some people fish there to feed themselves.
Is there scientific research there & what kind ? Yes , they are checking some of the fish out to see if any chemicals got into their system and they check the water as well to see where the PH level is at.

  4. * Shipping of toxic waste:  the shipping of waste including toxic substances and increased shipping activities carrying chemicals and crude oil 
5. *Aquaculture activities are directly impacting water circulation and the balance of nutrients within the water, potentially harming the coral reefs.
