Then I provided the link through my folder in Clever (our log-in app), so they could continue to work on it, after they checked out books. They get an iPad, log-in to Clever, then can click the link to the game. The cost of the digital subscription for the year paid for itself in terms of interest and kids getting engaged and not just roaming the shelves and talking and getting into mischief. This way it was good mischief, developing their decoding, detecting, problem solving skills. I'm lucky to have teachers staying with their classes, so I had a few teachers interested in continuing in their classrooms, so they are able to access that code in their classroom to, if students have choice time. Now I just have to convince certain teachers that this is an OK activity in the library (at least one was upset that I wasn't making students read).
