20+
504
SPED
Math Support: In preparation for classes for the Spring Semester I wanted to ask you for just some general advise in choosing to teach a class that would benefit the students in our site. I will be teaching 3 classes. Two are for sure and those are Algebra 1 and Geometry, but the last class I am debating if I should teach Pre-Algebra or Pre-Calculus. My rationale for teaching Pre-Algebra is that it will help our students who have a low NWEA Score, but I am not sure if Pre-Algebra still counts for Math Credit or if it is only elective. My rationale for teaching Pre-Calculus is that I move some of my Algebra 2 students to this course but my two concerns about this course is that I will only have only a small amount of students that would want to continue with this higher level course and I have not taken the third math CSET which I do not know is required to teach this course. Let me know your thoughts.
