In this passage it talks about how the justice system contributes to black family breakdown. Even though this GIF is from the fresh prince of Bel air and if you have seen this episode it’s quite funny but that’s not the case. I chose this GIF because it shows the The swiftness And quickness of a jail cell closing on black men. A lot of black men in the penitentiary are fathers. Some won’t see their kids until they’re grown. Some will never see their kids again. Some black men get killed before arrest. The black community has a high percentage rate of fatherless households.
