Shakespeare: Well, I took inspiration from Rome’s chaotic political scenario in the 1st century AD and BC. Julius Caesar, who , I assure you , is very much real , was a dictator of Rome. He was assassinated because he had power and people envied him. In Rome and was a controlling political figure and had a dynamic domination of the dictatorship of Rome.The scene was ideal for a manipulative politician to enter the stage.
