One of my most memorable times was recently at the DFW Youth Listening Session where we got to teach them how to do storytelling and give them examples of what it looks like. It’s a great way for someone to fully process their own story when maybe that space has never been safe for someone to do so

Being able to have a secluded area to feel more comfortable with the camera.

Also just having guidance when its a new way of sharing your story for some youth.

It gave us opportunities to meet other youth and provider’s with the same mindset to do better for the future. Not only expanding our networking, but connecting! It also gave me personally a way to grow as a public speaker sharing my story!
