I think it's important that there is a focus on students needing to find evidence to support the claims they are making, instead of just memorizing facts.</div>]]></description>

         <title>I like the &quot;ongoingness&quot; of the new science visions. It&#39;s NOT a worksheet and then, poof, done (that so 1992). Students keep working on investigations over time, refining their thinking, rethinking, and keeping on with their explanations and solutions. That&#39;s awesome. Journals, hooray! </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Based on the "new vision" of where science education is headed it definitely seems more inclusive and student centered. It seems to focus more on the LEARNING PROCESS instead of the outcome. I also noticed that the New Vision connects a lot with Common Core Math in allowing multiple entry points in order to engage ALL students as well as placing more emphasis on explaining their thinking.&nbsp;<br>#GoScience #NGSS #nomoreworksheets</div>]]></description>
