This was disregarded as the current way of running to economy, Capitalism was flourishing for the 1%. Then in 1917 Communism decided to grow, when Russian politician Vladmir Lenin proposed it to the Russian Government for their new way of running the country. Communism was then the basis of the Russian Revolution (1917-1923).  Due to this the Tsar of Russia gave up the throne, making the government be democratically elected. Lenin and his Bolshevic party was elected and began Running the country Socially and economically through the ways of Communism. Despite Lenin using it, Stalin was the one who exploited Communism during his 26 year reign (1928-1954). He removed civil rights and killed everyone who dared to go against him by murder or concentration camps, this lead to 62 million people dying from Communism.
