-  I want to learn how to use JavaScript and jQuery more effectively, becoming more confident in coding using JavaScript in particular. Additionally I would like to produce some original/unique ideas for iteration, and learning more about the design processes and design elements/principles
-  I'm worried about the lack of experience I have with JavaScript, as this will be a crucial factor when building the interactive web application, also the amount of work needed to put in to produce an effective web application is a tad daunting
-  I hope that this course is entertaining, and the web application is fun to build/create

-  Interactive map, when clicked provides information on the location, the events that took place, etc.
-  The interactive map may include a travel route, displaying where the convicts were taken, countries stopped at, arrival and departure cities, etc.
