What does the term "digital citizenship" mean? How can you be a good digital citizen?

I think it means your presence in the online world. We are all secondary citizens of the internet, sharing a world together. What we can do to be more responsible is to utilise our resources more efficiently and ethically. Each new development comes with ethical concerns and we can be on the moral side if we navigate our resources with ethical considerations.

1) Digital literacy skills, knowing which sites or knowledge sources to use, knowing the applications and usages of different apps, websites, platforms, knowing how to access real information, the skill to separate the AI generated fake news/videos/pictures from real ones. Also I believe they need to have adaptation skills as to keep up with the ever-changing world. It is the era of digital globalization where we can access to almost everything online, hence digital skills would be of utmost importance in my opinion.

2) To be responsible for your output in digital websites and social media platforms, to be a good reader and analyzer of the news and information online and act accordingly, and of course to be respectful in general.
