Initially, We were targeting already existing StickerHub customers - Semester 1 and Year 1 students of the Faculty of Resource Science and Technology, Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology, and Allamanda College Residence at the UNIMAS. It did not take long for StickerHub to be known for its stickers which were offered at the price of 2 Malaysian Ringgit for a set of 5 and were beautiful in design with competitive quality.

The company’s aim is to let the people decorate their laptops, water bottles and notebooks to reflect their true self. While still becoming the simplest of sticker brands to acquire in any form, Stickerhub has an objective to become a brand of choice among students for stickers. However, keeping creativity and affordability to the core.

StickerHub is working towards increasing the customers base and scaling the reach while getting inspired from the rapid changes in trend to come up with new designs. The brand is set out to create a mark in the sticker world by pushing through the initial hurdles of low demand and little economcic bulk buying power.

These are my jobscopes:

1. Analyze and optimize the sales funnel, from awareness through to conversion, to ensure the highest possible conversion rates.

2. Establish and manage customer loyalty and referral programs to increase repeat business and encourage word-of-mouth marketing.

3. Leverage customer feedback and reviews to build social proof and trust, using testimonials in marketing materials and on the website.

First, I realized how creativity is very important in marketing. Creating entertaining campaigns and new designs of stickers helped us associate with customers and stand out.

I did market research that helped me understand what customers wanted, which actually helped me make better marketing decisions that raised sales.

The digital marketing also contributed a lot. We utilized social media to our advantage and ran ads to reach out to bigger masses and scale up the brand.

Promotions, such as discounts and other offers, helped drive sales and created returning customers.

The management of time and resources was a bit of a challenge, though. I learned how to be organized and focused on what really mattered.

Last but not least, I learned that analysis of data was the way to improve our marketing. By tracking results, I could adjust our strategies and get better outcomes.

In general, this has been a steep learning curve as the Marketing Manager for StickerHub, and these lessons will be useful in my future projects and businesses.
