An initial challenge for me during this unit, related with my question, is that I don´t like to read to much in general, so for me try to motivate others to read despite I don´t like it too much is going to be a challenge. I say that is an important situation but not an emergency, because, I know reading has its benefits and I think reading on another language is even more beneficial, but liking to read is something that can be developed throughout life, and there´s no need to hurry.

So to gather information I think I will need to see how the people who likes to read, started liking reading.

So something similar happens in school. Another reason I think for students to not like reading or to not be motivated, is due to the books themes, many of the stories we read in school do not have a topic of interest to the students, although there are some that do for certain people. I also think that Chilean students like less reading in English than in Spanish, because, English may be difficult for many students, especially non-bilingual schools, so English books are difficult for them to understand.
