Its population is 947.952 people.

It´s a beautiful and modern metropolis. The climate is very hot in summer and very nice in the rest of the year.

The centre is very old and you can see lots of historic buildings like The Great Mosque and the Dar El Mandoub Museum. Another noteworthy place is the Plaza 9 de Abril, where there are always people.

The tourists in Tangier can check the special street atmosphere and the can do excursions so you can see Tangier in one day perfectly in a bike.
