         <description><![CDATA[<div> Well because it states something that appeals to our better natures but is simply not true. Also, the statement in the picture that claims "Don't let criminals harm innocent victims" is false in that helping the organization pay for food and medical expenses for the animals is in no way helping stop the criminals from hurting animals. Like the picture below, this is just supposed to confuse you into thinking you're doing something good, but in reality, you falling for the lies.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>          The example I found was one created by the ASPCA for advertising towards donating for animals in need but it was discovered that most of the revenue was not given to said animal shelters in need, but was spent (questionably) on more fundraisers.          <description><![CDATA[<div>        The pity fallacy attempts to persuade by using sympathy;  it's a fallacy in which someone tries to win support for an argument or idea by exploiting his or her opponent's feelings of pity or guilt. The ultimate effect is to misdirect the direction of an argument to confuse the readers/opposing argument.</div>]]></description>
