Love the inclusion of the timeline Group 2. Remember Africa is the continent made up of many African countries including the country South Africa located at the southernmost tip of the continent of Africa. The reason there were few independent countries in African is that many African countries were colonised by European countries like France, England and the Netherlands. South African itself was colonised by both British and Dutch settlers this is how they speak English and Afrikaans originates from the Dutch language.
