Jal hi jeevan hai ! Though more than 70% of earth's surface is covered with water, only less than 1% of available water can be utilised for drinking.

Thus it becomes imperative for us to conserve and utilise water effectively.

Conservation of water is necessity for our greener future.

Scene: A quiet morning by the river, suddenly the water starts rippling and a voice emerges from the depths.

Water (firmly):

Human, we need to talk. Time is running out!

Human (startled):

Who’s there? What’s happening?

Water (seriously):

It’s me, Water. You’ve been using me without a second thought. Don’t you realize I’m disappearing?

Human (surprised):

Disappearing? But you’re everywhere—in rivers, oceans, rain. How can that be?

Water (with urgency):

Look deeper! I’m being polluted, wasted, and misused every single day. Clean water isn’t unlimited! While you leave taps running and ignore leaks, I’m slowly fading away.

Human (worried):

But I never knew it was that serious. What can I do to save you?

Water (with power):

You hold the power to change everything! Stop wasting me—fix leaks, use only what you need, and educate others. Every drop saved is a future secured!

Human (determined):

I’ll do it! I’ll be your protector and make sure everyone understands how important you are!

Water (with hope):

Then together, we can change the future. Remember, I’m not just a resource—I’m life itself. Protect me, and I’ll protect you.

We drink it, splash it, help things grow,

So when it rains, let puddles play,

Don't play with water. It's fun but it wastes a lot of water.

Take a shower instead of a bath. Baths use more water than showers. But try not to spend more than five minutes in the shower.
